Biscuit Bonanza - new temporary exhibition
In addition to our permanent collection of over 12,000 original items, we're happy to announce temporary exhibitions opening soon:
Biscuit Bonanza
17th July 2008 - 31st January 2009
Over 100 colourful and vibrant designs show the amazing art of the biscuit label. Along with 400 shaped biscuit tins that have adorned British homes since the Victorian times, this exhibition demonstrates the printing prowess of the biscuit trade.
Sweet Sixties - opening soon
8th September 2008 to 31st May 2009
The ultimate nostalgia trip for sweet lovers everywhere will happen at the Museum of Brands, Packaging and Advertising where visitors can rekindle their chocolate memories from the 1960s.
Here are all these forgotten favourites – Tiffin, Topic, Skippy, Bar Six, Aztec, Crackermint, Fry’s 5 Centre and Lucky Numbers. The period pack designs will also encourage the nostalgic tastes and temptations from 40 years ago – Caramac, Smarties, Picnic, Toffee Crisp, Dairy Crunch, Aero, Butter Snap, Jelly Babies, New Berry Fruits and Clarnico Mint Creams – and the two brands that changed their names, Marathon to Snickers and Opal Fruits to Starburst.
